Next Up is a personal task app. It works entirely on your device with no account. If you choose to sign in — to sync across your devices — we collect your email address to send you a sign-in link. We don’t sell your data, don’t show ads, and don’t share your tasks with anyone. Your lists are private to you.
Next Up (“we,” “us”) is operated by John Rafferty and available at nextupforme.com. Questions: hello@nextupforme.com.
You can use Next Up without an account. When you do, your tasks, categories, learned suggestions, and preferences are stored only in your browser on your device. We can’t see that data, and it never leaves your device unless you sign in and enable sync.
To sign you in, to sync your data across your own devices, and to operate, secure, and support the service. That’s all. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or build marketing profiles.
We use a small set of service providers who process data only to run Next Up on our behalf:
We don’t share your information with anyone else, and we don’t sell it.
In the United States.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and each account’s data is isolated so only you can access it. Passwordless sign-in means there’s no password to be stolen. Next Up is not end-to-end encrypted — our service providers can technically access stored data as needed to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
You must be at least 13 to create an account. Next Up is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
